Nike: The Last Game

I'm far from being a sports person but somehow my first shopping extravaganza was a pair of Nike running shoes. I never told my mom how much I spent on them cause it seemed like a fortune back then and it still seems so. Probably that's why I chose Puma over Nike, ever since that purchase. But, I admit that Nike is special and The Originals are now back "in style" for the beginning of FIFA World Cup.

The 5 minute animation movie Nike just released is part of the #riskeverything campaign. "The idea behind ‘the last game’ is to show the world that NIKE, like any true lover of football, believes that the game should be brilliant, daring and bold. Having the confidence to take risks is absolutely vital in football. imagine a world without the brilliance of Cristiano Ronaldo, the acrobatics of Zlatan or the wizardry of Neymar,’  said NIKE’s chief marketing officer Davide Grasso.‘The final 90 seconds of the last game prove, beyond any doubt, that brilliant football should be the only kind of football. Brilliant, creative, risk-taking football. That is what #riskeverything is all about.’

There's no grater danger than playing it safe

Enjoy the World Cup, Nike and fabulous football!

P.S. the last time I went to a football match
