Golden Globes Glamour 2014

Did you miss the glamour posts? I surely did!

I got all excited when I learnt from Emily that GG ceremony is near. I googled the nominees and waited patiently for a little glamour in my life. Which I totally enjoy even if I can only watch from (more then an ocean) distance. To tell you the truth I was a little bit disappointed with what I've seen on the red carpet.

First, Google told me that everybody's favourite was Lupita Nyong'o in Ralph Lauren. I agree that the colour looks fabulous on her but I really wished she/her stylist was more inspired/original

She instantly reminded me of Gwyneth at the Oscars, 2 years ago. Not that long ago, so why use something so similar even it's by Tom Ford, not the same designer.

I know, I am mean here, but I wanted to get this out too and now, back to the nicer me, here are my favourites:

Black dresses

Simple but very nice: Minnie Driver

Simple and perfect - Julia Roberts

Gold details on the perfect wife - Julianna Margulies

Very  appropriate - Melissa Mc-Carthy as opposed to Lena Dunham from Girls

Emma Roberts

The pregnant squad

Pregnant and cute and beautiful - Olivia Wilde

Drew Barrymore

Kerry Washington

Vibrant colors

Caitlin FitzGerald - the shoes are super

Very age appropriate and playful and a very controversial outfit apparently - Emma Watson. I think it was a brilliant choice for her

Perfectly simple (again) - Reese Witherspoon

The bodies

Lauren Parsekian is Aaron Paul's wife

Stunning as always - Sofia Vergara

Jenna Dewan

My favourites

Lily Rabe

Julie Bowen

Cate Blancehett

There weren't many wow/staring at the screen moments but overall it was nice. I still have hope for the Oscars that there will be one dress that blows me away.

Now, please tell me, what was your favourite look?

P.S. Last year GG coverage

  1. I don't care what anyone says, Reese Witherspoon can do no wrong.

    1. I totally get that. I know some of my picks are on the worst dressed specialists list. I don't care either. And Reese looks simple and perfect!
