6D but not the 6D you may be thinking about. It's just my way of trying to look smart and mysterious and like I am good at writting and capturing your attention. Haha!

Let me do the math for you:

Dita von Teese Debuts 3D printed Dress, that's the 6 D I am talking about here.

"Additive manufacturing or 3D printing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital model. 3D printing is achieved using additive processes, where an object is created by laying down successive layers of material. 3D printing is considered distinct from traditional machining techniques (subtractive processes) which mostly rely on the removal of material by drilling, cutting etc." This is 3D printing according to Mashable. More from the same source here.

When innovation meets fashion, this is 3D printed dress as debuted by Dita:

Could this be the future of sewing machines? Only time will tell.

In case I was too subtle regarding today's pleasure:  it's awareness for what the future might hold, fascination for mankind progress.

A joy a day keeps the doctor away!
