Inauguration glamour

I hope you enjoyed my Golden Globe coverage cause I am back. Glamour reloaded. Where from? The inauguration, but of course. First lady has interesting style so I like to keep an eye on her just like the rest of the world does. Here below are the outfits she wore for the "so very special" occasion.

The day before at the official swearing-in ceremony

On Sunday, at the White House, the first lady wore a dress and bolero-style cardigan by Reed Krakoff. I quote: Women's Wear Daily reports she wore the same cardigan on Monday. How could she?! What a horrible fashion crime to wear a cardigan twice. Really?!  She is nothing but "normal" ; even so she has the right to wear clothes more than once. Give her a break!

The night before reception

The inaugural reception for the 57th Presidential Inauguration at The National Building Museum in Washington, Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013. Michelle wore a Michael Kors dress that she wore for the first time back in September 2009 for an official dinner. Fashion crime again :) She just accessorised it differently now with a cluster of bracelets instead of chandelier earrings.

The President told the crowd:
-I love Michelle Obama, and to address the most significant event of this weekend, I love her bangs!
Not only is he one of the most powerful men on the planet but he pays his wife compliments in front of millions watching all over the world. Can this get any better?

At St. John's Church

President Barack Obama, Sasha and Malia, first lady Michelle Obama and mother-in-law Marian Robinson, walk to St. John's Church in Washington, Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, for a church service during the 57th Presidential Inauguration.

Michelle wore a navy coat by New York City-based Thom Browne. She also wore Cathy Waterman pearls and J. Crew “Valentina” pumps. Malia, 14, wore head-to-toe J. Crew, layering a blue wool-crepe “Teddy” dress under a feminine “Lady Coat” in purple. Sasha, 11, wore a lavender Kate Spade coat and a matching Kate Spade dress.

Finally, the inaugural ball

The first lady chose Jason Wu again, just like she did 4 years ago when the designer was only 26.

That's all Folks!
I am not at all interested in politics but I do admire Michelle. They say that behind every great man there stands a woman. Who better to illustrate this than Michelle Obama?!

Do you like her? What other powerful women out there do you admire?
